Minions Review :

Tiny, adorable yellow characters from the Villain-hero series 'Despicable Me' get themselves a spinoff to seal the summers, The Minions! Narrating the evolution of these cute characters, their origin from seas and their run for finding an evil leader for whom they all can serve sums up as the basic plot of this prequel to the 2010 offering 'Despicable Me'. From dinosaurs to vampires and then to the first female villain, Scarlet Overkill( Sandra Bullock), these banana loving creatures go far and wide to end their hunger of evil. Gathering of all at the Villain-Con and the subsequent adventures of Kevin, Stuart and Bob fills up this 90 minutes jovial ride.

Kyle Balda and Pierre Coffin give the already favourite and lovable characters a self story and the gamble pays off well. Having a fine animation with visually appealing 3D effects, Minions, is a treat for kids. Pierre Coffin with the voice of Kevin, Stuart and Bob speaks in the funny language to make you smile whenever the minions speak. Sandra Bullock's voice over doesn't quite make an impact but the smart evil act completes the theme properly.

Having lots of rib tickling moments of cute, aspiring Bob, guitarist Stuart and responsible Kevin, the flick is a must watch animation feature of Universal Pictures in competition to Pixar's emotionally intelligent 'Inside Out'. Baring the weak storyline Minions is a beautiful, hilarious entertainment for its adult fans!
